Our Story
Sheer Glam Salon & Spa LLC was founded and established by two strong business minded women Devi & Rizzo. Each from two very different backgrounds and cultures, but their passion for beauty & the self-care industry brought them together in order to provide New Yorkers & Tourist with the most elegant luxurious Salon & Spa experience available.
Devi is from Guyana and is an expert in Cosmetology. She was a proud owner of Radiance Salon which was located in Guyana. She took a big chance and sold her business to come to New York and build the beauty salon of her dreams. Additionally, she faced every obstacle you could imagine, even having to return to school here in NY in order to obtain her Licensing in America, all while being a single mother and having to provide for her babies.
Rizzo was born in California and moved to New York City when she was just 2 years old. Her father was and absent parent, and at the age of 16 years old was forced to drop out of school to provide & care for her sick mother who was diagnosed with Thyroid Cancer and unable to work. Today, she is happy to say her mother is a cancer survivor and is now cancer free. Knowing how Presious life is, Rizzo can finally focus on her lifelong dream and vows to provide every guest with a much needed relaxing and stress-free environment to escape the NYC busy life and rejuvenate.
Sheer Glam Salon & Spa LLC is currently seeking a location to service clients and will temporarily service clients at their homes. If this does not work for you please reach out before booking, we can accommodate you by utilizing the daily chair rental services. Additional fees may apply!
